What's the storm potential looking like for these areas? It's hard to find details in other threads ?

Not sure on the storm chances for us tomorrow if this onshore breeze hangs around. Usually it kills off any shower activity by the time they reach the Wolds.

It has some good sides though, its a pleasant 22.7C out there at the moment.

If this was over central UK all the storm discussion thread will be going bonkers! This is great for us yorkshire and Lincs folk! Been showing every day since Mondays forecast. Great consistency

Well large amounts of cape don't always produce. AS loing as Carol K doesn't mention humdingers we might be okay. Downside I cut the lawns and hedges as the forecast is poor so could mean unbroken hot sunshine.

It's gonna be a case of being glued to the radar, watching a storm head this way and watch it split in half as it gets here.....?

You can't be far off the edge, already warm, sticky and sunny in Doncaster.

Sun trying to come out again some lightning strikes to the south west of us. A little voice is telling me that all the major stuff will be to the west and east of us today.

Wonder if we will get any storms on the coast, onshore breezes tend mean that we miss out, winds are currently light but easterly

Sun hiding again a few spots of rain. Too be honest not looking good reminds me a few years ago when cloud killed a promising day off altogether.

Well if nothing shows in the hour or so with the heating I think it's a bust.

Still cloudy here, had a short shower. If the sun appears, the humidity will be sliceable, might have some for lunch....

Heavy shower in Rawdon, no thunder as of yet. Still feels really humid.
