Yes lightning mixed in just missed the flashes on video ! Was way mental to film a good shot from inside a window. Impressive storm that.

Well the cold spell being steadily shunted east we can probably write off any chances of any further wintry weather bar frosts.

Heavy showers rattling through here swear some flakes mixed in might be wishful thinking. Either way being more frosts this month then in winter put together and sharp contrast  from Wednesday to Friday when was soaking the sun up in garden.

Hi all, 

High pressure of 1042 according to my barometer.

Only 5.5 C temp and a stiff breeze.

Seeing more graupel and snow flakes than all through the winter !

Had a few snow flurries here this morning, all very tiny flakes though. Not enough to wet the ground or give even a dusting. Goes to show the advantages of low dew points in getting the stuff to actually fall though!
