Well against predictions the system has made it to Leeds, although it's just rain here. Looking at the radar currently, I don't feel confident that it's going to stick around long enough for the colder air to turn it to snow, however experience from this time last year reminds me that it can change very quickly so we will see!

Briefly snow now eased off with the odd flake which is probably sleet. A slight covering. Now heading in the drier zone so it will most likely turn to rain. We maybe too far south for the next band but those further north should be okay later on and may get a surprise

Now started again despite radar saying otherwise

Yes quite likely, they had a covering yesterday morning for a time too. What's your location?

Now stopped and what we got is melting rapidly. A day of now casting  from now on. Will depend on evapourive cooling to get snow down to lower levels later on again.

Sleet again but looking at the radar it shouldn't last long then we are at the mercy of any showers that may or may not arrive. Traffic seems to be moving even on the higher routes looking at the cat and fiddle cam

10 hours of icy rain, then 5 minutes of sleet, finishing off with 1 minute of big fat snowflakes. Then it stopped. What a winter #terrible

Sun breaking through again here. Over the top warning from the met for Snow and they seem to have forgotten the windy weather in the south. Gusts to 67mph down there and no warnings in place. Broken system perhaps everyone down there are having a long sleep in so theres no impact.

It's actually turning to sleet here now. I'm surprised as it's not particularly cold at 2.7C.

Snow melting away even off the high level cams. Me thinks the warnings can be removed.
