As a weather enthusiast gran canaria is as boring as it can possibly get. Every day is practically the same with the exception of the wind strength which fluctuates a lot. But it is good for relaxing and tanning. 

Frosty this morning even in subtropical Piccadilly.

Yes, I too found some buds with colour in them in the lawn after the snow had cleared off. Plenty of snowdrops out and daffs budding too.
