It’s a good job it’s a leap year otherwise the February sunshine we’ve finally got would have been in March

Well so much for this "storm". Been partly cloudy skies all morning. Plenty of blue sky and sunshine. A bit breezy but that's it. Just looking at the sky you would think it was summer. Had some threatening looking clouds and tried to hail about half an hour ago but that's passed now. Best day all week.

A tiny slither of snow still left on Pendle as can be seen in the second pic.

Had an interesting day. When I left to go into town this morning it was 3°C with driving sleety rain/wind and feeling absolutely disgusting. By 3 pm the rain had cleared and it had become much warmer as expected reaching a maximum of 9.6°C. Went to see Prince of Wales and it was actually quite pleasant in the warm sector and the Sun came out at intervals. Quite surprised how nice the day turned out to be after such a terrible start.

Yeah the rain mostly stopped here around the same time and the afternoon felt much milder compared to the last few days. Was still overcast though.

Well Looking a little better than I thought yesterday but not by much really.

A slightly better snow chance according to the WRF but looks like dp will  rise a little during the front and freezing level still looks around 400–500 M. I think for under 200 M then it's not looking good unless we get some very heavy precip. Above 200 M should do well. Evaporative cooling won't be very possible this evening with the strong winds and although they start off-shore the wins go on-shore later so that won't help either.

Currently 6.9/0.6 here. Not had a negative DP yet unless my humidity sensor is reading too high.

Good chance of snow inland from this band. Rain drops are large here suggesting it's falling as snow not far above
