still makes me laugh.

Why do you want to be warned about 1cm of snow?

Because our infrastructure cannot cope with it

I don't think it is snow though WH,i think the pixels are picking up drizzle blowing in the wind with back-light enhancing it to look like snow.

No, the shower has passed through a few minutes ago.

I saw myself and it sure as hell looked like snow to me.

However, as I say, I can only report hail

Hail (technically graupel) Interchanges with snow near the coast depending on how Intense the shower is And what stage of its life-cycle the cell is in..

Looks like showers are developing again over the Irish Sea.

We need these to grow bigger instead of these popcorn farts it keeps on churning out,i think as the night gets colder and dew points drop further then i hope that the warm Irish sea will explode them into life,i think.

Well we have the showers, but mostly rain and even less wintry than they were during the daylight hours.  Still got slushy deposits on the tops of cars and grassy areas but hey....ain't going to be building a snowman anytime soon.

Theres around 1cm of proper snow at around 300M ASL, slushy at around 250M, nothing below 200M.

Still largely rain here but we had an intense shower of half melted hail before. That's extremely nasty.. Worse than torrential sleet.

Doesn't quite feel cold enough yet for snow. Currently 4C with dew points just above 1C
