Big hail squall just passing over. Very pronounced front edge like a gust front. Lightning out to sea so keeping an eye on things. Noticed this short sharp spike of CAPE earlier on the WRF but forgot to post about it.

Very loud thunder here made everything shake! Haven't heard thunder that intense for years. No much rain though

noticed that spheric during the shower. Didn't hear anything from here. thought I heard thunder when the gust front arrived but think it was just wind and wasn't accompanied by a spheric.

Torrential hail distant rumble of thunder as yet another squall moves through haven’t had such a spell of stormy weather since winter 2013/14 although this winter whilst pants has been not quite as mild as 13/14.

No lightning seen here along the potent squall-line but it was gusting a fair old bit as it moved through, and putting down a nice 1cm layer of hail on the ground which is slowly melting away now.
