As I said yesterday, I don't think the rain will be too bad in general with not everywhere seeing rain all the time. Still a risk on the hills though and of course we still got the lag affect to deal with. 

Questions are will the 2nd pulse hit the region tonight and how intense and prolonged will it be.

Maybe it’s just from a different direction but the roar of the wind seems even louder than last weeks storm.

the rain is just the same though, loud of the conservatory roof and no doubt wet when I have to go out later.

so much for arranging something months in advance.

A few squall lines have hit here, quite a period of heavy rain...thought the G Mcr rain shadow would come into effect from a South Westerly source but not tonight.  The squall's not moving through as quickly as Storm Ciara.
