Looking good for northern members of our region. Thinking the Lakes will get a good dumping tonight. Think I'll log off for a bit as it's like pulling teeth here at the moment. Good luck everyone.

The wind here tonight is worse than Ciara, gusting over 60mph quite consistently. Sounds horrendous

I think its due to the fact that the winds are coming from a different direction than yesterday. No shelter from the Welsh mountains.

Dipped into the forum this evening, during my 'February hibernation'.. mainly to comment on the strength of the wind, windier than yesterday, very gusty. Heavy sleety showers on an off this evening, tomorrow will bring colder uppers, greater chance of something settling.
