Started as rain here, now mix of hail and snow.

mmmm...strange, showers seems to exiting Ireland in quite a beefy state... tracking the Irish Sea and appearing to lose strength and shape...but then livening up again as they make landfall on the North West coastal strip.  Almost a mini squall line now over Merseyside?  Is it wintry in nature? It was sleety rain and graupel here. Electrified further inland.

Saw a flash of lightning and heard the rumble of thunder...shower was hailstone at times but very stop-start...but quite interesting how this line of showers pepped up over land instead of much in the Irish sea...

Good covering of snow on the North Wales hills. Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen closed for the first time this season. That in itself a shocking indictment of how poor a winter it’s been.

Yes there was a warning put out for today by metoffice.

Not  sure why unless they were referring to wet concrete.

It’ll be bloody dry at this rate. Had one shower all day!
