By far the most interesting day of the winter so far. If only that squall could’ve lasted a bit longer!!

I've never seen anything like that before here. Exceptional gusts, the heaviest rain I've ever seen anywhere with almost 0 visibility. Incredible

In Formby Merseyside.

Was some strong gusts for about an hour with some very heavy rain and has now pretty much petered out to nothing, bit of a damp squib all round.

Temp 9.0 degrees

Pressure 975.8

Current wind speed 8.7 mph

The squall line is going sideways, I got bored of watching it. Still honking down, video later. EK17 on approach at MAN. Where's that airport livecam gone?

No squall here in South Cheshire yet but looks to be on its way! Its been very windy but we are relatively sheltered from the Welsh Hills here so hasn’t been that much of note just yet.

Hail rain and strong winds. That was one hell of a shower before. Seems to have calmed down a bit now. How long is it lasting

I see some moron thought today would be a good day to tow his caravan over Woodhead Pass. Blown over and closed the road to everyone now.

On the edge of the squall now, gone dark, house lights flickering, view of the hills invisible.  Aircraft still flying over, hats off to all the pilots. (Pardon the pun).

Squall line mostly passed through here now. Wasn't anywhere near as intense as I was expecting.

The whole storm has kinda petered out after that squall. Almost as if it used all the energy it had pushing the squall through
