Is this the main course or just the starter as looking at the radar there’s nothing much behind when it clearers eastwards in the next hour or so.

i was under the impression that the heavy band was due in the early hours so not giving up on white conditions when it comes light in the morning.

Looking at the Radar, looks like that’s all till the early hours.

hopefully the temps can drop a bit more.

Covered here but the dog isn’t impressed with this weird white cold stuff on his decking.

The dogs bone isn’t, he left it out on the decking.

anyway he’s fast asleep now dreaming of whatever dogs dream about.

Would imagine snow line will be around 200m would be very surprised to see any snow on low ground.

Currently 2.3c here with a DP of 1c with light to moderate rain.

Good luck to all though.

Looks like a decentish covering at the summit of the M62. Happy though as if there's none there at that height we might as well get another hobby

Temp & dew point slowly creeping up here so unless there's some serious evaporative cooling later on with any precipitation then it's probably game over for snow. Think I might try & get some sleep. Drizzle isn't worth staying up for
