Same here mate. Lightning in a number of directions. Possible round two heading up the Welsh border?

Glad I stayed up now. Going to watch it for a bit then off to bed. I hate heat but love thunderstorms so all is forgiven. Mental out there right now!

Lightning every 5 secs or so here, most aren't being detected at http://www.lightningmaps.org/?lang=en

Not much thunder by comparison, but the dog let me know it was coming and is now under the bed.

Frequent vivid lightning here and some decent rolls of thunder now. Glad I stayed up!

The heaviest rain has passed now but the lightning continues. The rain was nothing compared to last Friday

There's a 4.5 hour delayed flight from Tenerife on approach to Manchester right now, must be a great view from those seats.

If a somewhat risky one.

That was a belter of a storm last night. Frequent vivid lightning at the peak and then we continued to get sporadic lightning and thunder for a good half hour or so after the main storm had moved through. Thunder never really got tremendously loud, presumably since the storm was elevated. Looks like a chance of more overnight storms on Thursday night after a searingly hot day. Getting greedy now, but one more round of night storms would be good this week!
