17.1'c was today's maximum temp recorded in Buxton, and I fortunately had the day off so decided in the morning to make the most of the weather and headed up into the hills around Brown Knoll and the Pennine Bridleway for a 9.2mi circular hike. A little cooler on the tops at just over 1800ft with a consistent westerly breeze lowering the temps somewhat but not uncomfortably cold and with good views well past Buxton, the Cheshire plain, and Stanage Edge.

Raining

That’s probably why the dog gave me one of those looks when I sent him outside.

Like a “oh do I have to”. Or “ how would you like to have a pee in the rain”

Sunny and dry

Yeah pretty decent through the middle of the day but cloudy later in the afternoon, at least here and not that warm once the sun disappeared.
