Yep 3 rumbles of thunder and the first lightening I've seen this year.

That's a fair covering of hail and its still coming.

Lightning is avoiding me again deliberately. It’s been to my east and north-east and now my south  but never to my immediate west.

Lol that has happened before as well. Sometimes reverse psychology works too well.

3 flashes of lightning here too, followed by rumbles of thunder....strong winds whipping up hail stone blizzards!...turned everything white just shame it's not large fluffy white flakes, that would have left a few inches.

A volatile day! A burst of very heavy snow late morning, but didn't last, thereafter wave after wave of heavy sleet and hail, leaving a covering at times brought on by very gusty winds - making it feel very cold indeed. Only limited bright spells. Haven't had any lightening or thunder though. Plenty more wintry showers expected overnight - whether we see any proper snow I'm doubtful.

The fells are cloaked white.

A stormy turbulent week ahead.

More lightning. Think its striking the Holme Moss TV transmitter near Holmefirth.
