Bits of sleety stuff falling in a mainly watery mix.  Might scrape some icy flakes later on it's farewell edge, but the hills to the east might get something a bit more wintry.

Have watched the rain slowly turn sleety, then the sleet become graupel, then a few actual flakes mixed in! Now, delicious white flakes are tumbling from the sky!!

Sadly the ground is rather wet so sticking is an issue... But it's a start!

Beginning to stick to car windscreens... Come on, you can do it!!!

Heavy snow now but not really sticking other than on the cars and grass.

probably a different story further up the hill though.

Heavy snow here now!

Moderate sleety snow - very wet, if it had turned 3 hours early we would have been in business wrt a covering but probably too late now - only another hour of PPN left.

In fact as i wrote that it has now turned to proper snow, not heavy enough to settle though.

Quite a wintry scene now with falling sleet/snow...but as expected it's on the very back edge of this current spell so I'd expect it to be over soon.

The big white snowflakes lasted only 5 minutes, turned back to sleety rain, then some lighter snowflakes - alas no cover here. Waiting the clearance to see the snowline level - suspect about 300 metres. Later this evening and overnight probably brings further snow showers to low levels.
