Front has just arrived here and temp is already nosediving. Down from 9.1 to 7.6°C in 10 minutes.

5.2°C now and it’s only drizzling! This is an incredible temp drop.

Well what a journey along the A595 between Carlisle and Cockermouth last night!! This was already causing major problems before the yellow warning was issued!! These scenes were below 100m! Poor forecast & warnings for this yesterday, Cumbria Council and Highways were not prepared with no gritters/snow ploughs out. Many cars were stranded, thank goodness for winter tyres!
