Dare I say, at least it will be mild or did you overdo the spices

Yes mild.   Trending cooler to Colder later. High confidence of very cold, may go into the freezer with severe frosts and temps of -18°C or lower.

Hail stone showers tap tapping on the conservatory roof. Prefer the small sized variety, don't fancy the tennis ball sized ones.

A lovely dry sunny day today. Just wish it was a bit warmer.

Wonder how many times its snowed on 21st April in the NW of England. Easter being very late this year must stand less of a chance.

I’m hoping around then is our first day above 20°C. I predicted it to within a day last year which was cool.

White Easters more common than White Christmas? The stats don't prove it. I have never seen lying snow during Easter in 33 years but have seen lying snow on Christmas Day 4 times. Only seen snow falling on Easter Day twice and that was 1998 and 2008. Snowiest Easter was 1998 and there was lying snow on the Tuesday and Wednesday mornings immediately after those Easter.

Well it's been a poor Winter and looking further ahead there doesn't seem to be much to look forward to if cold and snow is your thing. This hasn't been the worst Winter I've experienced, I would say Winter 2013-14 wins that honour when I almost had a snowless Winter, just one pathetic dusting one evening in the February was all I got which was gone by mid morning the next day. March coming up may well be cold & snowy, you never know but I'd be very surprised if it beats last year or March 2013.

3 of the last 10 winters here have been completely snowless.; (13-14, 15-16, 16-17). 2 of the remaining 7 have had no measurable lying snow at any time; (11-12, 18-19).

Acording to Country file Temperatures up to 14c by Thursday along with clear skies will certainly feel like spring canot wait

Would not rule out a final cold snap but for now bring on some nice sunshine

Stayed back after match for a pint and a curry in Joes in stadium... heavy sleety rain now on way back home through Gorton...

You don't feel the chill when city win 6-0.

Might turn to snow back at your home elevation. Greens a d pinks on radar.

Met Office and GFS don't agree. 10C for my location by Met Office and last GFS run is about 11C. Infact GFS has nowhere as high as that for Thursday.

Heavyish sleet 1c but glossoponline says unsurprisingly that snake pass is hazardous with settling snow.... might wake up to the hills being white again...
