Great pics. Think Blackpool got buried too - There's a video of it on YouTube.

We just don't get snow like we used to. Never seems as heavy as it was in the past. Rain on the other hand seems to have no problem giving us a soaking.

Chucking it down snow now a distant memory ☹️

What’s snow?? The only things I know are light drizzle and heavy drizzle.

The 7 day forecast has me down for 7 days of rain

Tomorrow will be nice dry and sunny but it goes downhill after that.

Watch out for torrential drizzle.

I hate to say it. The ECM is baiting us for a dumping on Sunday.  Everything is very very marginal but.... and its a big but, there might be a surprise in store for a few.

My last fiver would go on rain, even up here although we live in hope and surely a dozen downgrades must equal 1 upgrade.

It's been a frosty start to the day but it all turned kinda 'stinky' in the afternoon... light drizzle, feeling chilly and just a proper wet day

Fairly heavy rain now (torrential drizzle).   Reasonably decent dry day tomorrow though.

Getting dark followed by some brightness later , further ahead there's likley to be further periods darkness with intermittent  brightness

And the intensity of the brightness will be variable

Yeah I noticed the noise of the drizzle on the conservatory roof, thought it sounded like the torrential type

Not odd at all. I don't care about Europe's Winter weather. 2010 was 9 years ago. It was a fantastic year in the UK both early and late in that year but it's now a long time ago in my opinion. A part from probably Feb 2012, early 2013 and last Feb/March mild has dominated. It has been utterly crap. As cold lover's we've been fed scraps.
