Not been outside since I came home from the football but it’s been cold all day and most of our snow cover has remained.

just a shame it’s on its way tomorrow.

-0.3C .. still a surprising amount of breeze out there.. it seems predominantly southwesterly now.

-3.5°C here now. Yep, wind has almost finished backing to the South now but it’s still a little variable so temperature keeps going up and down sinusoidaly between about -2.5 and -4.

Lol the Met station 1 mile away on the beach is reading 6.3°C higher than here!

-6 an hour ago...but temps already on the way up where this time yesterday they still have a few degrees to drop...sign of milder, wet weather to come.  Always a spell, never a snap with westerlies.

Still partial snow cover here, mostly in the sheltered areas. That means I had snow cover for 5 days here. Expecting rain tonight. But I wish the Gulf Stream would slow down alot sooner.

Weather has been so wet and windy in Rome, gutted I missed the cold weather. Oh well I had 2 days of snow before I left. So at least I saw some.

I like how you managed to stop the lake pouring off the picture to the left.

Who to believe then - met office has me down for 4 hours of heavy snow from 10am with temps hovering around 0 degrees, turning to sleet in afternoon, temps climbing up to 3 degrees only. Yet BBC already has me down at 2 degrees (false - it is freezing still), and just rain this morning temps climbing to 5 degrees by lunchtime..

Mmm the jury is out.. there is snow over SW Scotland, not sure when the precipitation will hit here, but expecting at least a bit of light sleety snow at first..
