A bit more light snow yesterday evening but not adding anything to that already lying. Most of the night was dry with broken cloud. Sunny intervals and one or two light snow showers so far this morning.

The snow cleared away last evening, leaving a light covering. Clear spells developing before midnight, widespread moderate to severe frost forming. Just a light snow flurry during the early hours. The day dawned clear, frosty and icy. Snow cover 60% 0.5cm. Turning mostly cloudy through the morning, cloudy early afternoon. From mid afternoon brighter with sunny spells. Cold.

 

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday 3.8c.

Minimum temperature overnight -4.0c
