A bit more light snow yesterday evening but not adding anything to that already lying. Most of the night was dry with broken cloud. Sunny intervals and one or two light snow showers so far this morning.

The snow cleared away last evening, leaving a light covering. Clear spells developing before midnight, widespread moderate to severe frost forming. Just a light snow flurry during the early hours. The day dawned clear, frosty and icy. Snow cover 60% 0.5cm. Turning mostly cloudy through the morning, cloudy early afternoon. From mid afternoon brighter with sunny spells. Cold.

 

Maximum temperature to 18:00 GMT yesterday 3.8c.

Minimum temperature overnight -4.0c

24-hour maximum 3.8c

24-hour minimum -4.0c

Minimum temperature on grass -8.5c.

Clear spells for a time last evening, clouding over well before midnight. Widespread frost. Overcast this morning, frost thawing slowly. Overcast, rain set in by mid afternoon, this turning to moderate sleet and wet snow by early evening.

A light snow shower this morning left a slight dusting which remained all day. Sunny spells and a cold day

Cold clear start with a hard frost, then sunny for much of the day. Cloudier at times in the afternoon with a few flakes of sleet/snow in the wind. Maximum 5.8, minimum -2.5. Wind light WNW.
