Clear spells at first last night but it became cloudy by midnight and there was a light shower of very fine snow sometime during the early hours. Cold and cloudy with fog coming and going so far this morning.

A cold day cloudy but dry in the morning and a wet afternoon with light rain and sleet. The Snow as expected confined to the high ground the peak district.
