A clear, calm start to last night but cloud increased by midnight and there were showers of wet snow during the early hours. A scattering of fresh snow on top of the old this morning. Chilly and overcast so far today with fog above 320 m.

Very cold start with a hard frost and just about enough snow remaining on the grass to count as another day with lying snow. Cold and overcast with a few spots of rain at lunchtime. Maximum 4.9, minimum -3.3. Wind light NE.
