Please keep this thread solely to discussing the model output. The model banter thread is available for more loosely model related chat, ramps and moans.

Well at least the 18z is sending us to bed happy what a bloody chart this is. Heavy and persistent snow showers coming in of the north sea

Well the 18z is an upgrade to me but i am not going to say BOOOM!!! yet until nearer the time

that N Scandi trough is there again which i commented on on the 12z from 150> but coming in earlier and more potent and penetrating the uk this time giving a better easterly at 180 ,good model viewing.

I think there's certainly the chances of the sausage making an appearance in the next few frames.

Edit. Here it is

The GFS 18 hrs run is sending us to the Hilton on Hyde Park compared to the ECM which has booked us into a dingy B and B !

The ECM is sleeping in the streets of Baghdad! I’m not happy with it, and if it doesn’t change it’s tune in the morning it’s not getting any more RAM!

From here it is a simple matter of exactly how the mayhem happens.  Popcorn?

That's one of the most perfect things I've ever seen.

I would like to re-tract my previous comments stating that the GFS looks good and consistent with previous runs.

It looks amazing and is better than previous runs!

Phenomenal 18z coming out. A relief after the ECM but still trying not to get too excited...... going to be a nervous model watch in the morning.
