A rare cold start and dry but cloudy. As I typed we've had our first snow of the winter

Overcast with moderate/he snow adding to yesterdays accumulations.

Temperature currently 0c but feeling much colder in brisk Northerly winds.

Clear sky after a light shower some time ago, 0.2 mm, a low of 0.4 C currently but no sign of frost on cars let alone ground frost!

Clear spells overnight, widespread frost. Cloud increasing before dawn producing a few moderate wet sleet and snow showers and soft hail. The day dawned icy, with a slight sprinkling of snow, / soft hail, frost.

Cloudy overnight, a little light showery rain. Bright and brief sunny spells this morning, cloud building after the observation producing scattered light showers. The showers turning prolonged, though continuing mostly light. Rain cleared mid afternoon, feeling less mild by then. Clear spells forming around dusk. Quickly turning colder.

Heavy showers overnight with strong gusty winds but just rain no wintry weather yet it was, however, one of the coldest nights of this winter here so far. This morning has been bright and sunny with a calm wind.

A very light snow shower overnight leaving a sprinkle on high ground and a few pellets here,frosty to start leaving a cold and sunny day,max 2 deg,min -2 deg

A nice calm afternoon with no wind at all it was sunny at first but got more cloudy later. This evening the wind has picked up again though.

An early mix of rain, hail, sleet and a few flakes of wet snow cleared by 8.30am then dry and cold with sunny spells. Maximum 5.1, minimum 1.2. Wind light NW.
