Barely a cloud to be seen that way. I have a feeling this will be like Tuesday for here, draw a line from Dumfries and straight up, that's where might see the action. Anything west of that and your chances vanish rapidly.

picking up some cloud here in Lochgelly now.   Everything tied down in the garden.  Jeez what a day and we were working all day in the garden getting things ready for Saturday.   I was swearing under my breath though as it was  probably all in vain!

Highest temp I could pick up from local weather station was 25.4c but it did feel hotter.   ENE breeze though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Anyhoo.... here is current pic

Could be thunderstorms further West within the hour - Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Shotts, Hamilton ect might see something! @NUT

Slight chance for East Kilbride @Ceitidh

Despite the storms being way way NE (some 30-50 miles) the Thunder is very loud. Huge dark sky to the East but lovely hot setting sunshine here still

EDIT: Storms suddenly getting very close on the radar so could see a wee taste of what some of you will get later. Clouded over now

Just had a power cut here - always a good sign. Thunder rumbling away merrily and rain now getting going. The radar looks promising.

I was lucky (?) enough to experience golf ball sized hail in Buenos Aires back in 2006.  The noise was tremendous.

That storm has basically chased me up the M74?️ some interesting skies around that area but I didn't see any lightning.
