I can't take this heat.. horrible just horrible. I want winter to start as soon as possible. Bring me frost snow and ice days over this. Also cracking picture from @howham

What a glorious day! Cloud burned off at lunchtime then it was blue sky galore and maxed out at 20c. (Same again tomorrow and Monday - maybe a couple of degrees warmer)

It is not hot (25c + would be my preferred Summer weather) but I can’t complain! 

Sky tonight is just incredible - took this picture below at 22:38.

Started completely clear but cloud has filled in as expected but still some blue sky around though so I think the sun will come back

Yes  same here sixth day of cloudy skies. Speaking to a buisness acquantince in the SW of Scotland on  Friday who said they are on the dry side with rivers at low levels unlike up here on Friday when they were all in full spate. Can"t even get domestic grasses cut as they have been very wet for 6  days too now.

Currently dry ,cloudy and 15c.

Sun finally came out about 3.00pm mostly blue skies currently

Sunny here now at 18.8C. Just back from a very pleasant walk up Kinnoul hill by Perth.

Stunning day again - hit 21c and blue sky once again! (Partly cloudy for a couple of hours late morning) 

Tomorrow looks just as good and I have the day off work! 

Girlfriend and son are fast asleep so there was only one way to end the day...sneak into the living room, grab a beer and watch the sunset!

A cloudy but warm day no wind not a bad summer afternoon really but cooler weather is on the way

Not cloudy here with sunshine virtually all the way. Very pleasant with a max of 21.3C.

It's been a beautiful day in Kincardineshire, some cloud, slightly hazy but long sunny spells and a temp of 23-24C.

The countryside at the moment is very lush and verdant around the Birse area and the Feugh Water.

Same again today - hazy currently but temperature reached 22c.

Looks alright tomorrow.

Risk of heavy showers breaking out - more so North/South Lanarkshire.

Lovely few days - Summer has been pretty good so far.

Going forward I would love a bit of this! (Charts from latest GFS - 10 days away but nice to see all the same!)

Latest ECM for roughly the same timeframe agrees! (24th and 25th below)

This popped up on my newsfeed earlier - what a beauty!

Another unbelievable sunset - it always seems to be better than the previous night which is bonkers!

First proper sunny day in quite a while and temperatures responding, up to a very respectable 22.5c in light winds.

Beautiful evening with temperature still 14c outside.

Hayfever brutal today but small price to pay for gorgeous weather like this.

Some evening shots, phone camera struggling a bit with the light but you get the gist.

A warm humid day.  Sunshine until about 3pm and then clouded over with some showers.

Have had two very warm humid days now with maximums of about 23c.They have both stayed dry in spite of our local forecast saying showers on both days so went to cultivate neeps instead of turning hay.Will get my leg pulled by the neighbours.

Strawberries coming to the end helped along by the badger that comes in for the spillage from the bird feeders having dscovered them with all the nets being messed up overnight.They really are becoming a big pest in the countryside.

A swealtery but pleasant humid day here, although temps just around 21-22C.

Some convective cloud from this evening as viewed from the garden;

Hoping for some clear sky later to view the partial lunar eclipse.

21c and sunny here today - cloud rolled in after 19:00.

Went for an evening walk...was hoping to see the partial eclipse but cloud and a torrential downpour ruined it!

So I had to make do with a ferry, cruise ship, lighthouse, canoes/kayaks, yachts, submarine, glimpse of the sun at 21:09, incoming threatening clouds and finally a torrential downpour! 
Pictures are all in that order!

Hopefully some of you have witnessed the partial eclipse - looking forward to seeing some pictures of it!

Warm here today with sunny spells. Max 23.1C and still 20 C now. My daughter took a couple of pics earlier when the eclipse was at its max but didn’t come out too well and looked like the nearby streetlights. Here is one and another taken now but again not too clear. Left light on the first and upper on the second.
