Thinking of the statement that there is more chance of snow at Easter than Christmas we still have 6 weeks of potential snow events especially up here.

I   remember there was two weeks of snowcover around  Easter 1968 which was at the begining of April. Just a dusting on the grass here now at 0.5c

Some beefy snow showers today around Carrbridge with temperature hovering around 2c.  Combined with a strong wind felt bitter out there.

Mind you when the sun was out the scenery was exquisite, especially between Carrbridge and Ferness where a dusting of snow managed to survive for a while in the late afternoon.

Perth and Kinross yellow snaw warning!! @edo get ya shovel ready @Polar Gael get ready for one last snaw fix. bring the snaw.

i refuse to believe i will see anything.... although its kids fitba down the inch at 10am for 90 minutes so i suspect driving sleet that has all the poor wee subbies hanging off my leg crying to get on and run about....

as it stands despite some poor winters this would be the first winter my kids have never had enough snow to get at least a few hours sledging and the oldest is 14... granted last couple of winters it was only a couple of days opportunity but it was still an opportunity.

Fingers crossed for one last hurrah

Hmm wet snow falling here, ground is sodden so little chance of it lying I would say. Daughter jumping around in excitement nonetheless.

This is what's been noted before: in some places you need to be under the deep pink bits on the radar as the pale pink is meaningless.

I'm waiting for deep pink.

However me wet baws are now far too warm.
