It could be my eyes but the showers look like they might have made a steer to a more westerly direction south of the central belt?

Rare as hens teeth

What you thinking Steve, much movement south towards central belt? Is this same feature picked up few days back?

Not sure how far East it makes it as steering winds slow

Good for the West / North - not so good further East-

10cm for some

Would it make as far down as glasgow/ayrshire?

Noticed that feature in the last hour. Just assumed (hoped) it was a low that would drive the showers in a more westerly direction for the Glasgow area. Feel free post in the Scottish thread more often! We are a friendly bunch.

Does anyone have a decent radar predictor app.....I have always used the rain today premium but it has stopped working.

No chance, dry as a bone here tomorrow.

No chances of snow over the following days for the Lothians, then it becomes too mild. This has been a dire winter so far and I can't see any change in the foreseeable future

Any self-respecting polar low would have zipped down to Ayrshire by now, obliterating everything with gales and blizzards.

This one is just mince. Look at it, crawling along at a few pixels on the radar screen at a time.

Bedtime said Florence.  :air_kiss: said Zebedee.

The snow repulsive force from the lothians is too strong, even a polar low can't defeat it

*in a commentators voice* @Hairy Celt looks at the polar low and gives his verdict - he and fellow Scottish residents have had enough of these poor attempts at "snow"!
