Another orange wind warning for here tomorrow. The criteria is way too low. Idk now many we've had that are absolutely nothing.

The S word mentioned for high ground tomorrow from both mets.

Cold air indicating sleet shown on radar now Donegal

Was out cycling there and I saw distant lightening off towards donegal a few times. I'm driving from limavady to groomsport and back tomorrow. I might see some snow on the Glenshane.

Heavy sleet and hail falling here now. Wasn't expecting that. Maybe a bit of snow later today

Unsettled and often windy conditions are expected to continue with areas of rain moving east across the UK interspersed with brighter, showery interludes. Rain is likely to be heaviest across western and especially northwestern areas with the driest and brightest weather across the east and southeast. Hail and thunder are also possible in the showery interludes with snow at times over northern hills. Temperatures will generally vary between near normal and mild as weather systems cross the country. Some brief quieter, colder spells are also likely with more in the way of night frost. These are more likely later in the period and could give snow showers more widely to low levels in the north.

Hints of a Northerly?

Some wild weather in Leitrim today. Huge hail squalls and enormous cloudscapes. Pictures don’t really do it justice.

Chance of frontal snow on Thursday. Gfs automated fc showing 16cm in 3 hours. Highest I've seen for a 3 hour total for my location . Over 23cm for the day. Anyway not to be taken seriously but risk of snow there

The silence almost gives you your answer na52.

GFS shows snow showers, Euro4 also but don’t see much away from high ground.

Would be nice to get one decent dumping this year, had very little this winter

Both the Coleraine Mountain and the Glenshane have a bit of snow on them tonight. I'll get my snow fix later this week with another 8 nights in Iceland. Plenty of snow forecast to 😎

Sick of the rain, looking forward to a bit of spring warmth which won't be coming anytime soon 🙁

I don’t think we need to question if we get the precipitation but will it be cold enough

This weather is bloody miserable. Hasn't stopped raining here in about 36 hours.

I'm not confident of snow chances here in the East next week but I always hope for upgrades!
