Hows things folks? I hope you are all well. A little bit of interest showing in the charts for next week. Would be nice to see a little early season snow.

Pom how's things. I have just come back from a week in Iceland and I'll be back in January for another Photography tour. There was a little snow when we were there and temps got down to - 11. We photographed the Northern Lights 6 out of nights. It was amazing.

Still foggy here and temperature 0.9c. Rain pushing in a couple of hours. Temperatures were expected to be 5 to 8c by now. Hoping I see some wintryness from this system as it pushes in. Met Eireann mention sleet on Northern Hills

The latest update of the HIRLAM model is looking rather promising for West Wicklow, much of Kildare and possibly south Meath (and some other asking areas inland) for tomorrow evening and it's clear to see that it's taking evaporative cooling into effect. Will be very interesting to see how it pans out. I find it this model to be often fairly accurate.
