Both ECM and GFS giving us a chance of a white Christmas.

Obviously still ten days away and we've let down two or three times already,  but there remains hope.

A single flake needs to be recorded falling I think. Cold day today briefly hit 2.5c, currently 1c.

Big fat, slow falling snow here at the minute. Covering the ground well.

Not a flake. Nada. Going to bed after lamp post and radar watching and it’s 2:30am. Exhausted and frustrated

sincerely yours, a Dublin snow fan!!!

Another let down. My early pessimism is unfortunately proving correct.

Really can't see anything of interest until late Winter.

Enjoy your festive holidays.

Why in the name of christ would you want to torture yourself like that?lol

Any snow was always a long shot over on this side of the island, so i never really gave it much thought .

I was annoyed I still haven't recorded an air frost so far this month, thought I would over the weekend. Surely tonight though.

So... wondering if many of you have had much knowledge of this website before?

It seems to forecast an impressive winter from Mid January onwards, possibly till March.

Any long term charts able to give any credence to what the guy is saying?

Orange warning now for Mayo and Galway #StormElsa from Met Eireann. This one was named by @ipma_pt  the Portuguese Met service in a project with Spanish and French. Atiyah was in the Ireland/UK/Netherlands project, so no Storm Brendan as Portugal named the low first earlier this week but its impacts extend over NW Spain and up to Ireland and the UK tonight. #BorrascaElsa

New trend picked up in La La land for potent North Westerly? Prob won't happen but would be great to see. After the start to winter we have had then anything wintry would be most welcome!

Well best of luck to you all. I'm off to bed after a horrible day in work, I'm working all over the Christmas period, so wishing you all a very merry Christmas...
