Nice one Sperrin, hopefully that band survives its trip across to the East

Just starting to snow here and sticking right away

Edit - stopping now but it was just a rogue shower ahead of that front moving in.

Rain sleety mix here and 3 degrees according to my weather station. Obviously feels colder, but a band is moving in and it looks like it could be snow... Going for a nap now, will che k back in soon!

Sunny here in Belfast - few flurries on way to work over back of cavehill - but more like sleet ... looking like we're going to miss out - ah well ... everyone else enjoy!

We just had a shower earlier but nothing significant no lying snow at low levels right now. Tonight seems to be where its at with low temperatures being very helpful .

I’m very sorry to say Rochey, but this is one occasion where I hope the Dublin snow shield stays intact. Given that I’m working in Dublin today and Bray tomorrow, last thing I want to see is anything remotely resembling a snowflake next or near that god forsaken M50!! Hope you understand

Snowing here now, lying a little on grass and cars. Would need to be a bit heavier and/or bigger flakes to lie elsewhere.

Just got a lot heavier, that's the stuff now

A lot of cloud out west heading this direction on sat24, hopefully these showers showing at the minute merge as we move through today and overnight

Precipitation doesn’t look to snowy for south England so far

Looking at the radar, the colder air is well and truly overhead now, everything coming across will lose its marginality and will be snow and my only hope (a weak one at that) is the precip reaches this far. Doesn’t look likely at the moment!
