I hope nobody comes in here and heres how pleased we are that the ICONs take on Thursday is now about Worcester southwards! 😂

If it removes all marginality for southern areas after being shown as a rainfest in these parts only a few runs ago then we'll all be happy. 😄

At this rate it won't even reach the south coast!

That's at odds with Ian's charts on Points West which showed snow falling widely from around 16.00 and I would expect it to settle once the temperature drops which will be a three fold occurrence due to evaporative cooling, nightfall and cold air undercutting.

I can't help but feel timing isn't doing us many favours temperature wise because at present Thursday's precip is forecast to arrive around midday/early afternoon too on the Net Weather predictions.

I saw that as well, considering they work for the same company I find it strange, unless Ian was using the latest data

I think it will probably end up about where the ICON is putting it or a bit further north. That's from a very biased forecaster by the way 😉

Decent!

Don't know if it's because of the different graphics but the PPN seems much heavier in that chart compared to the ICON. That would be a juicy amber warning.

Perhaps we could see at least another yellow by tomorrow evening/Wednesday morning considering they issued warnings for tomorrow's little event on Sunday.

I notice on GFS 18z the ppn tomorrow hangs around in our neck of the woods a little longer before heading into the SE.

Hope this one doesn't go pear shaped. I'm pretty sure they must be firming up on Thursday now.

I have an incredible -3 here on the North side of the Isle of Wight this evening.

Not sure why , but notice Southampton is showing this also!

Lets hope this is good sign for tomorrow evening!!

-0.6°C here, but as you commented earlier it’ll be a rain fest down here on the coast, although I bet Karlos will be happy to test out his new found elevation..
