Cold last night but beautiful today. The sun strength reminding us that this airmass doesn’t really pack a punch by day this late.

Today reminds me of April 2010. Many sunny days that were often cool rather than cold, with chilly nights.

Outdoor work weather is going surprisingly well. Monday had an hour of vile drizzle then dry, Tuesday was somehow dry until after 10am, yesterday and today dry with today being simply stunning.

Going forward tomorrow will be great too but next week could become uncertain.

We have a hot air balloon flight booked next Thursday afternoon, bricking it with the unsettled prospect for a week’s time.

It got down to 0.6°C overnight, not as low as I’d expected perhaps scuppered by cloud moving around. Nevertheless a sunny morning here, currently 7.3°C

After a decent start it turned rather miserable from late morning. However, the sun is now out, the breeze is light, and it actually feels rather pleasant.

Should slowly start getting milder from Monday, with increasing amounts of sunshine as we head towards week end. And potentially rather warm if the models are to be believed!

Looking increasingly milder as we go through the week, perhaps hitting 20C by the weekend. Hopefully Easter lunch on the patio this year!

a warning about people making assumptions. we've just been through a winter that was very different to the previous one.

some people, seem to be expecting this summer (hoping maybe) that it will repeat again

it may be possible ('75, '76) - but it's very rare.

Easter means nothing, because in previous years, Easter was in March.. so pushing it back to mid-April this year, of course there is a greater chance is it being warm.

Meanwhile, the feels like temperature for here today is no higher than 3c, and wind gusts of up to 47mph are expected during Monday
