Not as warm here either but still a whopping 18.6c maximum! Feeling sorry for the plants and trees which have been tricked into thinking it's an early Spring. By tomorrow it will be typical weather for this time of year again. ?

Hopefully the wet weather doesn't last too long and we get something a bit more settled for mid-March but this has been a pretty exceptional spell and it's hard to believe I recorded 18.3°C today when today's max a year ago was probably around 1/2C.

My weather station at home says 15.9c today max. Our snowless trip to Inverness comes to an end tomorrow and we maxed at 13.0c today but who cares as it’s been stunning weather and combined with superb scenery I haven’t missed the snow too much ?

All the work i've been doing on the porch/lean to, meant I h ad a ton of old wood to get rid of. I cut it up in to smaller pieces which resulted in quite a large pile.

I decided to have a fire in an old wheelbarrow - been going since 3pm.

A high of 15.9c yesterday with lots of warm bright sunshine.
A low of 6c from midnight to 4am.
Now 10.5c, grey and cloudy, 1017.4 hPa. Wind has moved to the SW and from being very light for a few weeks, is now 12-14mph with plenty of 20mph gusts

A changeable month with a brilliant dumping of snow to ring in the month, apart from that, mostly above average and changeable in the first half of the month. Turned much milder and drier after around the 15th, and the past week has been exceptionally mild. Not a bad month.

Avg Max: 10.9°C

Avg Min: 3.2°C

Max temp this month was 18.3°C on the 27th and the lowest temp was -6.7°C recorded on the 3rd.
