Well it happened. I parked up to start my outdoor work literally as it started raining for the first time in 9 days! Couldn’t have been more (im)perfectly timed!

Thankfully the heaviest missed and it only lasted half an hour!

I was secretly hoping our daytrip to Geneva would involve a walk around the frozen lakes and heavy snow. But no, Geneva is forecast to be sunny and 17c on Monday!!

Light rain for a lot of this morning but otherwise it’s been a cloudy and dry day. Missed the heavy showers that went through not long ago. A bit cooler than recent days, reached 8.9°C.

And the mist setting in early on the way home.

Been to Blenheim Palace today, it was mainly cool and cloudy. Hailstones after lunch though, took us by surprise, we were in the shop at the time - good timing on our behalf!

We had 3.2mm of rain yesterday spread over the morning and a little shower early evening.
A bit more than I thought we were getting.
A quick shower at 6am this morning. A low of 4.3c at 7am.
Lovely bright sunny start to the day, 8.9c now, 1020.4 hpa, light SW wind.

cloudy and gloomy today, cold hunt thread shut now, pretty much sums up this winter, a continuous hunt but no pay off at the end

From our actual Met Office... The proper one.. in Exeter.

Makes me wonder if they're experimenting with AI to write those bits.

Looks like the new website they’ve been trialling for a while now. Never seen a daily text forecast that far ahead before.

Sunny all day although it’s clouded over a bit now.  Reached 10.1°C
