Piddling down here again. 16.2mm in the last 24 hours.
46.8mm for February, 102mm for the year so far.

What's everyone else's totals looking like?

Sounds really windy out there now. Not raining at the moment but had some heavy rain earlier.

Shows how dry January was when I'm only 1.4mm from last months total rainfall already.

Strange to think that this time a week ago not a flake had fallen but since then there was a major snowfall which has now all gone!

Between 7 and 11 pm yesterday we had some heavy rain and a real heavy burst around 8pm, was 8.8mm.
Wind from the SW really picked up here between 1am to 4am, 2--25mph and many gusts of 35-43mph.

Was 9.6c at midnight and a low of 7.5c at 4am.
Now, dry, blue skies, 7.9c, 1007.3 hPa, SW wind 10-18mph, many gusts of 20-33mph.

It's a hideous morning here, very wet with hail too but at least the wind has dropped. Don't think a rain gauge would have been much use here overnight, more like a bucket needed.

Any update on the winds tomorrow?

Nasty weather last night. Windy too. Very Decemberish. Sunny and calmer this morning.

Roll on next week.

Vicious little storm passed through in the night. Woke me twice.  That'll be the 49mph gusts then 🙄

Phew! Last night was very windy down in Salcombe, wish I had a proper weather station like some of you guys 😊

Really picked up from about 10.45, just before midnight I had to go and retrieve the standard #wheeliebins which were flying down the road. Always great to be woken up by a crashing and clattering sound...😄

But it was really gusty out there, much more so than it has been for a long time.

I see the Met Office has taken the yellow warning away for tomorrow for the SW. Still widely showing 55-60mph gusts around late morning/lunchtime tomorrow for here. Heavy rain expected as well. Localised flooding wouldn't be a huge surprise TBH.

Just checked the Mount Batten observations (that's the nearest one to here). 56mph gust recorded at midnight, I'd imagine it wasn't far off that here.
