Mentioned this earlier. Certainly looks like it is heading that way!

I don't know how many people are on here that are under that amber warning, but it was valid from 2pm, and it expires in 2 and half hours. I haven't seen many reports or amazing pictures yet?

Surely we will see some soon, looks like a heavier patch just to our south east,

And to rub salt into the wound my weather app says we have heavy snow right now lol, yeah ok then, there's zilch falling out of the sky right now!

After an absolute age, there are finally a few flakes blowing in the wind.

Might make 0.1cm by 2200

Not one forecast/app got our weather in Newquay right today. Most said heavy rain and 6c . It’s been barely above freezing since lunch and a good dumping of snow.

Still not settling here, not feeling good about riding my bike in freshly laid snow on the way to work tomorrow  morning.

While I'm pleased to see falling snow I just can't see it settling much here if at all. It's not heavy enough and the front seems to be rattling through. Presumably the pivot is what we're after and where the settling might kick in?

DP still up at 1c. I really want the temperature and dp to fall more. We might have a chance of the snow sticking then.

Heavy rain since about 1PM, big flakes now coming down in Newton Abbot.

Little bit of an update on forecast from Met aswell, not taking it literally though, just nice to see it falling to be honest as we were only forecasted rain for this event, just this past hour it’s updated to snow ?‍♂️

Temperature is down to 0.9°C, nicely setting on pavements and driveway now. Struggling to set away from the side of the roads but I'm sure the road will get a bit of a covering once it peps up a while

Don't think the precipitation is actually going to make it here. Just continue to slide around to the south. Amber warning = no snow it seems. Frustrating.

I have dandruff snow here between  Gloucester and Cheltenham. Really hoping the heavier stuff makes it here as the kids are banking on a snow day tomorrow!

Starting to fizzle out here. Classic rain to snow event. Snow does lat on wet surfaces. Just need low temps and a high rate of snow falling!
