Friday looking interesting given the wind direction and speed / temperatures, some quite nippy windchill's look to be the order of the day..

Local ITV forecast on now looks a bit patchy to be blunt. Sorry for bad news.

I wouldn’t take a channel that employs Piers Morgan too seriously ??

The winds drop light, skies clear, and temperature drops. The lower it can get tonight, the better the chances probably

I guess those southerly corrections must have put are region in the sweet spot!

??? the genies ?‍♀️ out of the bottle now !! I’m looking forward to the ‘orange glow’ early hours Friday morning, you know the one where there’s snow on the ground and it’s all reflective. Actually scrub that, 2 issues there. One the street lights have been changed to that soft white colour now and 2 - the council turns them off at night to save money ?❄️

You have until 1.15am for lamp post watching. That's when they go off!

Hmm..i didnt used to like him but in last year or so he's steamed into quite a few 'right-on' snowflakes on GMB - latest being Scottish Green who dissed Sir Winston - so these days PM gets my vote.

And to keep it weather related ITV use Meto whom i trust more than Meteogroup on Beeb.

I'm a nervous wreck... Waiting for a magic hole to appear in front or for something to go pear shaped

How about a pear ? shaped hole....now that would be a kick in the dog biscuits!

Have faith. fingers crossed that the front is full of  heavy returns for most ?

Already down to -1.1°C here at 8pm (Taunton, Somerset), looks like a pretty hard frost incoming which bodes well for tomorrow I reckon.

Are we anticipating this will start of as rain and turn to snow or an all snow event away from the coast?
