Looks like I'm in the sunniest part of the country today. Classic clear spot over Somerset - very common in westerlies like these.

Overall, not bad today really. Not masses of sunshine, but it felt warm and the temp reached 19.6°C. As it stands right now, the Spring average temp here is exactly the same as last year, 10.4°C.

0.5mm of rain from a few blustery showers this morning. Those sandwiched a sunny start and sunny/windy afternoon.

A sharp heavy shower just now, temp 14.0°C

Nonetheless, there was a handful of sunny spells today, and it felt pleasant, even when the sun went in. A high of 19.3°C @ 13:55

Absolutely torrential rain in the last 10 to 15 minutes. The heaviest for nearly 3 weeks, probably creating localised flooding exacerbated by run off from the bone dry ground.

A grand total of 1mm from 'all that rain' that passed over here.

A bright and dry start (for the meantime) after an overnight low of 7.2°C. Currently 9.7°C

Heading down to Torquay in a few hours. Forecast isn’t as looking as wet or cold as it did last week thankfully. I can live with showers

Yesterday was another dry day, all the showers went round us, again.

Likewise everything today was "around us" to the west. east. north but sod all here. Oh well that sums up a forecast of showers really I suppose!

I wonder if Mapantz is going to treat us to a new thread for summer, considering this one started last winter, spring has been covered, something new for summer????

There were certainly some beefy showers around later last night. My work about 5 miles to my north was right under the heaviest stuff, with 23 mm recorded from just a few hours rain. I only managed 8.2 mm here but still had some pretty heavy bursts. All good for the gardens.

Sunny spells and a couple of showers today, not really amounting to anything. Reached 19.0°C. Currently 13.6°C which is similar to this time over the last few days but it feels quite a bit cooler than it did then.

Are we really getting some rain here tomorrow?  Nowt here again today, a few spits and spots fell in Yeovil this morning, but nothing at home.  Month's total stands at 18mm.

Dry here since I arrived in Torquay, sunny spells all afternoon and blue skies from around 5pm although a bit more cloud built in around dusk. Pleasant though

Patchy light rain around with an overcasst start as radar suggests some more patchy light rain heading in to the area over the morning. Overnight low of 7.2°C and current temperature is 12.5°C

Dull and drizzly again this morning. Quite dark too so feeling autumnal.

Im struggling to find a completely sunny day in the 10-day outlook.

Sun is starting to shine behind the thick cloud and it actually feels a little warm. Looks much wetter back home

It’s not really wet Scott, not in Warminster anyway, pimply rain and drizzle on and off for the last 5 hours but not even 1mm in the gauge.
