Bit too much cloud around for my liking today. Roll on June.

Does look as though June may be kinda stable, but things begin to really fry from July onwards....time will tell. If it does heat up, fingers crossed for some good plume action.......

Just clouded over in the last 30 mins. Looks much clearer out West, so here's hoping. Otherwise, the jerseys are going on.

Indeed! A repeating plume scenario like we often had in the 90s would be fabulous - plenty of heat but also rain for the gardens.

At least we have a heavy persistent drizzle here this morning.

Rain?  What rain?  About enough to dampen the flag stones and immediately evaporate, certainly not enough to penetrate the gauge.  Heading for a very dry May.

Fine light drizzle here but not even enough to dampen the grass, so i cut it!

Off for a bike ride now before that shower in the New Forest reaches here. Felt humid all afternoon though with RH in the upper 80% and a cloudy max of 19.3.

Cloudy for most of the day but dry until a few minutes ago when a brief shower passed over, so brief it didn’t wet the ground. Reached 17.0°C, currently 15.3°C

We managed a few spells of drizzle to wet the ground as well as some humid sunshine in between. Now fresher, breezy and sunny to end the day.

BBC forecast was weird.

It looks like very little in the way of rain for  down here, but the presenter was talking up the rise of temps by the end of the week (the high teens/low twenties) as if it has been rare. The last 7 days have been in the low twenties!

Mornin All, after an overnight low of 7.1°C things are warming nicely, yet keeping my eye closely on the line of precip stretching from Exeter north to Wells as it heads eastwards, maybe a chance of a drop or two of rain for the garden.Currently 16.4°C..
