Only a moderate shower here in the end. 4.8mm. As soon as the yellow warning was issued it all began to die away.

All shower activity seems to be fading in this area.  Nice gentle rain when it did fall, giving a much needed drink to the garden and save me from watering the pots!

Light rain for a lot of the afternoon with a bit of moderate rain for a time. Dry now although still a bit of rain around nearby. Reached 18.5°C, currently 12.9°C

Very heavy showers in the vicinity of Exeter at 5-7pm this evening, but surprisingly no thunder, despite localised rainfall intensities of over 100mm/h according to the Netweather radar.

More welcomed rainfall overnight has topped the amount up to 11.2mm for yesterday (09:00 -09:00), nudging the monthly total upwards. Currently 11.2°C after an overnight low of 10.7°C

Thoughts beginning to turn to half term work weather. The 2 Tuesdays in the Easter holidays were wet, this is the 5th sunny/fine Tuesday of the current school term, next Tuesday (the first work day of the week) is shaping up to be showery!!!
