On the whole a very sunny day but a fair bit of low Stratus, and mist in the Channel, advected in the cooler air in the boundary layer around midday, A lot of cloud on the front further north

So, the national BBC forecast at 13.30 showed a dry day for all of our region tomorrow. Then 10 minutes later Ian’s Points West forecast showed showers breaking out over Wiltshire, East Dorset and West Hampshire from midday onwards!

Ian did add that he thinks the model was overdoing it, but how can 2 forecasts from the same providers model be so different!?

A beautiful sunny day today, it reached 17.1°C earlier. Wish it could be like this every day but a cooler look after Sunday, hopefully the warmth returns as we head further into April.

Currently 10.8°C with clear skies.

i went out just after 7am this morning, it was flippin freezing, in thick fog

Sun broke though, and i headed for the coast, where the fog was lingering around, so i went from increasingly warm sunshine, back into the cold fog

what is potentially coming for next week, is flippin typical.. what we needed back in Jan/Feb - a cold blast

Foggy start, then sunny with some light cloud from late morning. The fog has returned with a vengeance tonight.

I'm wondering if I may squeeze an 18°C tomorrow?

Met Office went for 14 today and we reached 16. They're going for 16 tomorrow..

Foggy here this morning. Looking forward for it to go for another warm and sunny day. Personally, I don't think there is any need to be excited about next week's "cold", it may have been good in mid-winter but seems very pointless in April and I would much rather be having warm weather.

Conversely not even a hint of mist around Warminster this morning so a slight frost and full on sun. 6 mostly sunny days in a row.

Very nice day with blue skies although it turned a bit hazy later on this afternoon. Felt very nice, texting 16.1°C. Shame it’s not lasting any longer than today.

A very nice day with sunny skies that turned occasionally hazy. A high of 17.8°C here today so still not as high as what I got last month but it’s the warmest I’ve recorded this month.

It got to 16.9c here yesterday, a cracking hot sunny day. A low of 8.9c at 5am.
Cooler today and only 13c, sporadic cloud cover keeping the sun shining as much.
Wind has picked up, after a few weeks of lighter winds. ENE 12-14mph with plenty of 16-20mph gutsts.
It is now 19 days here without any rain, 12th March was the last that recorded on the rain meter.
There was a few days of drizzle in the air around the 17-19th, but it was so little, it nvere registered.

Give the sunshine a push this way please, mapantz.  It's been grey and gloomy all day here with no hint of the sun appearing.  Stiff breeze too which is making it feel even colder.

It got down to 4.6°C with a few clear spells overnight. Grey and gloomy now, such a shame after the lovely week! Much cooler as well at 11.6°C.

Good morning, a chilly start with an overnight low of 1.4°C with a light ground frost that has already disappeared thanks to the sun. Currently 3.6°C
