Had very heavy rain and hail followed by a roll of loud thunder this morning in Wells. That belt is clearing through now with another line of cbs following on behind.

You beat me to it. Heard the letterbox go, just as it started. Postie must have copped it.

Character building..

Pelting rain, medium-sized hail and some decent lightning passed over a short while ago.

Good stuff. Looking West from here, it looks like there are more showers on the way.

A showery day here with fairly frequent showers although nothing that heavy. Did have a very light hail shower not long ago which didn’t get any heavier than just spitting and the sun was out the whole time. 9.5°C

Little bits of hail in the showers here. Feels arctic with the wind compared to last week.

some notes about today. The air had a real bite to it, especially in a gusty wind. It felt much colder than it has for some time, one week ago, was t-shirt shorts weather.

some good updraught towers going off during the afternoon. It was brief, but got caught in some hail in Bideford.. fairly big sized too

From light to dark and back to light again with the latest shower bringing more hail. Dropped to 6.6°C during that shower.

I promptly fell asleep after that, hope I didn't miss anything :olddoh:

Looks like the atmosphere is still marginally conducive to some activity so some may get the odd rumble for a while.

Hail in a couple of this afternoon's showers, but only pea sized.  An apology for a rainbow shortly before sunset, very, very pale, not worth getting the camera out for!

Anyone getting anything wintry this evening? Net Weather radar showing snow on some high ground.

Temperature has dropped quickly to 3.0c this evening after a recent downpour.
