Got down to -6.2c here. Wanted -10c but you would need something spectacular for that to happen in a city!

Dare I say this is much better than March 2018 and 2013 and the only thing that stops it beating 2010 and 2009 was that it only lasted 4 days. Much more snow left though than I thought but after some rain tonight there will probably just be a pile of snow left where the snowman is

That's mad, traffic chaos still. Apart from a few spots in the garden where the sun doesn't reach at this time of year the snow is all but vanished.

Your not that far if you have a day off drive to the eastern side of the Mendips and even the shepton mallet area lower down, no thaw at all yesterday and snow is still like powder. Many lanes just not passable without 4 by 4.Im driving around with a shovel inside car for when I get stuck each time.

Warming up quickly here 2.1°c now, just looking at the models Tuesday could have temps up to 11°c!

By search there is a little icon click that and it will find closest station but if you scroll down to the bottom of the page there are more stations that are local!

That’s great! Many thanks. Can see we had a low of -8.5

Really looking forward to next week’s cack...

Wouldn’t it be nice to just have a sunny high pressure for a week with a dry thaw of the snow.

As suspected the minimum on my side of Warminster was nowhere near as low as elsewhere, -6.4c around 08.00 .

We now have 5 snowmen, the 2 done originally on Friday morning in the garden and 3 more in piles cleared from the driveway/shared access road which my boy insisted on putting carrots on to make noses!!!

Will take a few days I expect for it to clear properly.

Snow has thawed a little in the sun, but cover has held up well.  From a IMBY perspective, I have had the most snow since December 2010!  I was living in a different area back then, though but quite impressive all the same.  Shame milder weather is well on the way now and that it won't be a snowy breakdown.

6.6°C, still a lot of snow in the shade but all slushy elsewhere now - and I've just seen some people walk past with sledges, could you believe it!

I reckon there's still good sledging to be had up at the top of Clearbury.  We've just got back from a walk near there.

Still snow on the distant hill tops looking towards pepperbox hill, in the other direction.

Very slow thaw here, main roads are fine but the lanes are still lethal. Level measure on the table is now 18cm.
