Absolutely beautiful!

I'm stunned by this. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we'd get a repeat of February 2009, but we have. Will venture out with camera in a bit.

Agree. Much more snow than from the Beast... & it’s still falling! My little town is going to disappear

I think our days are numbered though. starting to move east and south. you may get half hour more though. It shows as blue on radar now but still chucking it down

Doesn't show any signs of letting up yet. Oh dear, what a pity, never mind.

Snowing all morning in Wantage, but now really increasing in intensity as the system appears to be slowly slipping south bringing a band of heavy snow here, not sure how long it will last because it's difficult to get a feel for how fast it is moving.

Hello all hope u all enjoyed the snow. Here on the Isle of Wight was very much split we had a good covering in St. Helens where Sandown a few miles away had rain and then the west side freshwater had a very good amount. Is the area on the radar making it way back down towards to the island. I keep running the radar but can’t work out if it dropping south.

It quite amazing! Don’t think I can remember seeing snow like it!

Way more than we seen from the Beast last year, much deeper and fluffier. Though that was a different scenario with the blowing powder snow.

loving it.

I had a similar amount depth wise in March, but I’m in a dip below Rod common and Rooksmoor Hill so I think it gathered well here out of the wind. The powder looked stunning when it was falling, like glitter, but on the ground I way prefer what we have now!

I can't see the expected South East movement yet, so it looks like it's got to get past us on it's way back to the channel; so we're still in the game.

As heavy as it was 12 hours ago now

Living in Gibraltar at the moment with 0% chance of snow, this is how desperate I am to see snow... I am watching a live webcam of my old stomping ground, Oxford, on my PC

Coming down a fair lick there again.

Swindon has been hammered over the past few hours and no sign of it letting up just yet. Already ~15cm of snow with potentially another couple to go on top of that.

Not bad, given a Met Office yellow warning for 1-3cm with 5-10cm locally on higher ground.

That’s good news for us in and around the Stroud district. The 12z has it probably 20 miles too far south, I wouldn’t have hardly any snow falling compared to what is. I’d like to get to 3pm, as the sun will be dropping fast then!

Been out for a walk and while it’s melting quite quickly there’s still plenty of snow in places.

I dont know how much you can trust these but met office has heavy snow sinking south later check link https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/map/gcn9hc1es#?map=SignificantWeather&zoom=8&lon=-1.90&lat=50.81&fcTime=1548990000

I think that looks about right going by the radar last hour or so.

Events that some of you are experiencing right now can usually be counted on one hand in a persons lifetime here in the UK. Enjoy! Some might even make close to a foot of snow when all’s done.

It’s exciting me and I’m in rainy London.
