Very jealous of you lot in that heavy precipitation, I swear it's moving west at a snails pace, well the brighter echos are within it.

At least another couple hours of moderate/heavy snow to come, looking at radar. Seems to be intensifying and building out of Oxford area

Look what's happening  below Reading

Tantalisingly close isn't it. Slight push west please!

You lucky sod, Dawn!

And don't I know it. When it snows around here, we Mendip dwellers usually strike lucky

Could also do with that temperature falling just a tad. 0.8C currently and there's a bit of a drip going on.

Certainly a thaw taking place. Clevedon up to 2.3.

Shame temps were not below freezing before the event and during, snow totals would of measured so much more.

Still seems to be a touch of Westward movement in the system so you might get lucky

The roads all round Bournemouth and Poole are clear. I don't know what it will be like on the 338 from fordingbridge etc....

Thank you for that. The A338 is clear round here (nr Downton). I can see it whizzing by from here.

The main roads down South seems OK, at least around here they are. We're still going to head to the BIC tonight.

Welcome to the snow-starved thread! We got lucky to the north of the region. Hope you can get more down there through Feb.
