Heavy snow again now in Yate. Must be getting on for 5 inches of level snow now. The roads are very quiet so lots of people have decided not to travel. A really good event.

This is amazing. I shouldn't have doubted the weather vids last night. They were just teasing us a bit.

So...I read on the SE thread that the current snow will gradually slip away to the SE,  albeit decaying all the while - Given that the main band is now NW of me this is sounding good - Does anyone know if this is right?

Decent night here and woke up to more than expected.

Just popping in from the SE group, slightly envious of your fab event. These pics from my sister near Yarcombe in the Blackdown Hills. Rest of my family in Tetbury, Bristol, Ciren and Chippenham sending amazing photos. Very jealous! Enjoy the snow day everyone ??

No more snow here since last night and quite a bit of it’s melted on the road and pavements but there’s still plenty on the grass.

Average snow depth in the garden, 3 inches, not bad.

I think I might get hysterical if it carries on like this!

Snow still lightly falling. It's been so lovely to watch all through the night. ☺️
